Brawl Hero is an arena fighting game that features level-based play as well as arcade and mission elements. On a green checkerboard battlefield, players aim the superhero avatar into positions that cause it to throw red balls similar to classic dodge balls at multiple enemies. The main gameplay of Brawl Hero takes place on the battlefield. The player directs his hero to avoid enemy projectiles and then places the hero still to initiate the game's auto-attack feature. The game often suggests when the player should instruct his hero to hide behind an object, such as turning on the red laser path just before the robot fires the laser.
Each kill will earn players gems and coins that they automatically collect at the end of the battle. Players can also collect starter packs filled with treasure by watching ads.
