Pixel Farm is not an ordinary farm simulation game. Instead, it has somewhat idle gameplay, classic Pokemon-like graphics, and a very addictive story that forces you to continue collecting and selling animal products on your farm. The game has a lot of great features, including the ability to set up an inn, in addition to the huge number of animals you can raise. The game is definitely fun, but not time consuming!
The game begins with a sad story about an old farmer who lost most of his farmland to some greedy corporations. As a result, the farm is in trouble, and the farmer, who happens to be your grandfather in the game, has asked you for help. I really like how the game illustrates the entire plot of the game just through animations and visuals. It's a unique touch, although I found it a bit difficult to strain my eyes to see the small images and follow the story as it was being told. Maybe it would be better to make it a little bigger.
