The round begins and the countdown starts. Get orders from consumers swiftly or listen to judges' themes. Keep moving across the kitchen, grabbing, kneading and prepping ingredients. The quality of the pastry is half dependent on agility and technique in the preparation.
Bake or Die rounds are extremely timed. You must precisely control baking temperatures and timing to avoid burnt pastries, which would cost you all your originality points and eliminate you from the game.
Defend the Kitchen Against the Bloodlust
Unlike typical cooking competitions, your greatest threat lies just beyond the glass. Waves of zombies will attack relentlessly. While waiting for your pastries to bake, use every spare moment to reinforce barricades and wield weapons—or even kitchen utensils—to smash the intruders trying to wreck your restaurant.
When you have downtime between waves or after completing a mission, dare to step out of your safe zone. Explore the surrounding map to discover secret recipes, scavenge rare resources to upgrade your kitchen, and rescue trapped survivors. Those you save can become valuable assistants for your restaurant.
At the end of each competition week, your score is tallied based on service speed, customer satisfaction, and—crucially—ratings from guest judges. Players with the lowest scores face the danger zone or immediate elimination. Maximize your creativity when decorating your pastries to score vital last-minute bonus points.
